Clinical Assistant Professor
Prof. Suzanne Nelson is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She joined Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Program faculty in 2021.
Prof. Nelson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University and a Master of Medical Science from Mercer University. She also attended the College of DuPage for the Pre-Med Post-Baccalaureate Program.
She has over 10 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery, Urgent Care, and Occupational Injury Management with focused interest in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Rehabilitation therapies.
Prof. Nelson is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Physician Assistant Education Association.
