Lauren Hoover

Prof. Lauren Hoover is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from The University of Georgia and a Master of Medical Science from Mercer University.

As a certified physician assistant, she has 6+ years of clinical experience in emergency medicine. She joined Mercer University’s Physician Assistant Program as full-time faculty in 2023 and has served as adjunct faculty in our PA Program since 2018.

Prof. Hoover is a member of the Georgia Association of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Physician Assistants.  She is an elected member of Pi Alpha Physician Assistant Honor Society.
