Jennifer S. de la CruzWelcome to the Mercer University Physician Assistant Program! We are excited that you are interested in pursuing a career as a Physician Assistant. Since 2008, we have provided an opportunity for talented, caring individuals to become exceptional members of the healthcare team.

Our Master of Medical Science (MMSc) program is structured to meet the needs of future physician assistants through an innovative didactic and clinical curriculum that emphasizes evidence-based medicine, informatics, critical decision-making, interdisciplinary teamwork, and the appreciation of ethical values and human diversity. Program faculty are committed to providing students the highest-quality educational experience through student-centered learning that focuses on developing ethically sound, patient-centered healthcare providers. The Program encourages our students to be leaders in the profession, and to transform healthcare by being actively involved in professional organizations, community outreach, and volunteer opportunities.

The Mercer University Physician Assistant Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).  We recruit 70 highly motivated and professional students annually with a commitment to improving the health and wellness of the community.
