Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Mercer University Physician Assistant Studies Program!
We’re excited that you are considering a career as a Physician Assistant (PA), a profession grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and service. Since 2008, our program has helped talented and caring individuals become exceptional members of the healthcare team.
Mercer’s Master of Medical Science (MMSc) program is thoughtfully designed to prepare future PAs through a dynamic curriculum that emphasizes evidence-based medicine, critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a deep respect for ethical practice and the richness of human experiences and backgrounds. Our dedicated faculty are committed to providing a student-centered educational experience that fosters the development of skilled, patient-focused clinicians.
We encourage our students to be leaders in the profession and agents of change, engaging in professional organizations, community service, and volunteer work to help transform healthcare from the ground up.
The Mercer University Physician Assistant Studies Program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). Each year, we welcome 70 highly motivated students who share a commitment to improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
Thank you for your interest in our program. We look forward to connecting with you and helping you explore all that Mercer has to offer.
Sincerely,
