Dr. Rachel Le
Dr. Rachel Le is Assistant Professor in the Department of Exercise Science. She serves as the Director of the Master of Athletic Training Program and Chair of the Department of Exercise Science. She received her PhD in Kinesiology with a concentration in Biomechanics from the University of Georgia, her MS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport Performance from Point Loma Nazarene University, and her BS in Athletic Training from the University of Lynchburg.
Dr. Le’s primary teaching areas are biomechanics and injury assessment. Her research interests focus on mitigating head impact frequency and severity among athletes and managing concussions. Dr. Le is also a certified athletic trainer and an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
