Dr. Annie Mulholland

Annie Mulholland is assistant professor of kinesiology in the Department of Exercise Science in the College of Health Professions.  She earned her PhD in Exercise Physiology at The University of Alabama, MA in Human Performance from The University of Alabama, and BS in Exercise Science from the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Mulholland’s previous teaching experience includes exercise physiology and exercise testing and prescription. Her primary research interests include heat stress and the impact on cardiovascular physiology and thermoregulation, especially in the context of occupational health and safety. Her research explores occupational heat stress mitigation, limitations of current recommendations, and development of new tools and technology for heat safety monitoring.
