Gabrielle C. Darville
Dr. Gabrielle Darville is Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health on the Macon campus. She received a PhD in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Health Behavior from the University of Florida, a MPH from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a BS in Health and Human Performance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dr. Darville is also a Certified Health Education Specialist.
Prior to coming to Mercer University, Dr. Darville was an Instructor and Evaluation Coordinator in the College of Public Health at the University of Georgia, a Senior Research Associate at The University of Florida, and served as a Health Communication Specialist / ORISE Research Fellow at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Her research interests are the use of technology-based health promotion to improve outcomes in adolescent/young adult health and health disparate populations. She is an active member of American Public Health Association, Georgia Society of Public Health Education and Georgia Department of Public Health - Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Control Program.
