Mallory M. Aycock
Clinical Assistant Professor
Professor Mallory Aycock is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. She received her Master of Physician Assistant from the Medical College of Georgia and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia.
Professor Aycock has clinical experience in General and Trauma Surgery and Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology. She is a Melanoma Research Foundation Certified Melanoma Educator.
Her current teaching responsibilities include Physiology/Pathophysiology, Physical Diagnosis Laboratory, Clinical Decision Making, and Clinical Medicine Skills Laboratory. She also serves as the Physician Assistant Student Advisor. Professor Aycock has published nationally and presented regionally. Her research focuses on Physician Assistant education models.
Professor Aycock is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Georgia Association of Physician Assistants (GAPA), Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants (GDPA), Physician Assistant Educators Association (PAEA), and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is an inducted member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society and Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. She was previously awarded the Medical College of Georgia Physician Assistant Department Teaching and Service Award.
